Review of motion activated outdoor Solar lights that I have used for almost two years. These offer amazing convenience because can be installed anywhere without a need for an existing power connection. • My home had a few dark spots around and the solar power light seemed like a perfect fit for my situation but I didn't know how many 'Lumen' of light I needed. OMG! I spent waaaaay too much time trying to figure that out and in the end I went with the highest lumen of light I could find in the 3-head configuration that seemed to be the best fit for me. • LIGHT USED: • 1500 lumen light, $45 - I do not recommend • 2000 Lumen Solar Light, Westinghouse - Recommended • https://amzn.to/446QRKk • https://amzn.to/3qXxYeR • Also Available from Walmart: • https://www.walmart.com/ip/Westinghou... • Price and availability fluctuates in Summer. Buy early! • MY 2 CENTS: • Get the highest lumen possible, at least 2000 lumen • In winter the light will not be bright, and that is okay • When triggered, should stay on for at least 60 secs • • ** UPDATE - APRIL 2024 ** • More than three years later these outdoor solar lights still work perfectly even in winter storm, with ice frozen on and around the solar panel - just unbelievable! Be advised that during winter months the light output is slightly less during because not enough sun / or the sun angle changes so they don't charge to full, but they still illuminate the driveway. • I tried a few other solar lights on the left side of my home but returned all of them. So far nothing else compares to these solar lights on four key evaluation points I use: they are Bright, can charge without direct sunlight, motion sensor works, and they stay on for at least 2 minutes. Perfecto! • • DISCLAIMER: • The description may contain affiliate links.
