We got to try some amazing products at IV8888 Range Day, but the new bullpup 12 gauge from TriStar shocked me. The box-fed Saiga derivative handled well and liked to knock clay pigeons out of the sky. Most of all, it was FUN to play with. • TriStar Compact 12ga: https://www.tristararms.com/products/... • I have a TriStar Compact 12 gauge on the way for full testing, and I'll release a full review later this year. This video is the reason why. I expected a bullpup semiauto 12-gauge to be a gimmick; a toy for range day. The Compact was fun to overall, easy to point, and precise on flying targets. The sights worked very well, open enough to provide a wide field of view, long enough for precision. The semiautomatic action helped reduce felt recoil, but my favorite ergonomic touch was the relatively low, smooth cheekpiece. Most 12-gauge shotguns have a comb that doesn't fit me and my bizarre facial structure. This one felt great. • Big thanks to Peter, Sportsman's Guide, and all the other Patrons of the Destructive Arts! / thesocialregressive • Kyle Broderick, The Social Regressive
