Our solution uses a special inside-mounting method that fits behind the window handle. You entirely use your tilt-and-turn windows and complete shade coverage by attaching them to the window sash. • Our blinds for tilt-and-turn windows work with various window materials, including wood, aluminum, UPVC, and vinyl. Fenstermann offers permanent and non-invasive ways to install each type of specialized window treatment. Regardless of your option, you can be sure that your new tilt-and-turn blinds or shades will look great. • But many of you might need to learn that they are also easy to install. You only need a drill, pencil, and pleated blinds from Fensterman to install. • ▶️ 00:00 Steps to install shades for tilt and turn windows: • 00:18 Step 1: Mark where you would like to install the mount for your blinds. Make sure to give enough room between the mount and the window trim for your shades to operate effectively. Be sure to mark out where all four mounting pieces are going. One in each of the top corners and one in each of the bottom corners of the window frame. We would suggest pre-drilling the holes before installing the treatment mounts. • 00:42 Step 2: Drill in your treatment mount pieces based on the marks you made from step one. Make sure that the broader path on the mounting pieces faces toward the wall or window frame. Be sure to drill in the mounts, each made on the separate marks you have made; there should be four in total. Make sure that the screws in each mount are nice and tight. • 01:06 Step 3: Now we are ready to install the window treatment. On your shade, you will see four clips that you will clip into each of the mounts that you have just installed. You clip them in, install your handle piece onto your blinds, and gently open your blinds.
