👋 Thew new 2023 Mazda MX5 Miata RF is such a blast to drive on The Tail of The Dragon! This manual transmission Miata has got to be one of the best handling cars and was pure fun! Tis particular spec was fully loaded with the Brembo brakes, BBS wheels and Recaro seats. I think the Miata is so well balanced being a lightweight car and just felt like a go-cart. The Tail of the dragon is a very nice road spanning 11 miles and has 318 turns. The Miata felt so at home through all the switchbacks and was a joy to drive with the top down. It was about 50 degrees by the time we drove the Miata this day, and it just was so fun! I love how direct the manual shifter is and how you can't stop smiling behind the wheel. While the Miata is not a fast car, because it weighs so little, it felt quick enough and really didn't need any more power to do the Dragon in about 15 minutes.
