Learn how to make buckeyes or an Ohio version of peanut butter balls by following this basic tutorial. Buckeyes are a no-bake dessert. They have a sweet peanut butter filling that is dipped in melted chocolate. • These are simply wonderful and well received as gifts. Feel free to reduce the sugar and use the fridge to help roll them into balls. You can also use the filling for other candies and as a fake fudge. It’s absolutely wonderful on its own. I recommend using at least semi-sweet or dark chocolate to balance out the flavor.
