In this video we will be learning how to interface a GPS Module with Arduino. • The U-Blox Neo M8N GPS module has 4 pins which are the VCC, GND, Tx and Rx pins. It works on the RS232 serial protocol and spits nonstop NMEA data strings to the Tx pin. NMEA stands for National Marine Electronics Association and is a standard text protocol shared from all GPS. • The NMEA sentences are of different types. The characters which appear before the comma indicate the type of the message. The GN after the $ sign indicates the GPS position. The $GNGGA is the basic NMEA message which provides a 3D location and accurate data. • This is a very basic project. If you want to see how you interface the same module with a Raspberry Pi drop a like or comment below what all projects would you wanna see more. • • Blog Link :- https://robu.in/interfacing-of-gps-mo... • The Products used in the video cannot be shipped as of now due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
