How to create 2 different light boxes, the importance and use of lighting, basic equipment, what not to do and a lot more - all with your cellphone! Cheap, easy solutions for taking great photos. • I am not a professional photographer but, I've been shooting my work for over 20 years. This is how I photograph my work and what works for me. Hopefully, you will find ideas for taking fabulous photos of your work. • One thing I forgot to mention, which can be very helpful is to purchase a wireless Blue Tooth camera shutter remote control (whew!). This one is really cheap - not the best you can buy but, at a few dollars, it is easily replaceable: http://amzn.to/2njxHOJ. A remote control helps to take focused images because you aren't touching the shutter. • The tripod I use is a Vanguard Alta Pro 263AT. It is under 125.00 US and has worked for me. http://amzn.to/2DGzp3M • The lens kit I have is the CamKix 4 in 1 Lens Kit for the iPhone 6S and 6S plus: http://amzn.to/2Go97oH. If purchasing the kit, be sure to buy the one designed for your camera or the case won't fit! • The Sparkler or Diamond Dazzler Light is from Table Top Studio UK (the only place that sells it): http://www.tabletopstudio.co.uk/Pages.... I believe, you used to be able to purchase just the bulb but, things have changed... You can try a halogen light or a multi-light LED flashlight. Try making a cardboard disc - with a hole punched in it - for the end of the flashlight. This helps to focus the beam. • Cardboard box from Target: https://www.target.com/p/scotch-174-m.... A longer box will make graduated, background shadows easier to obtain. • The light bulb that I use for lighting my work is the: 30W, 5000K, Trumpet Bulb. • http://www.tabletopstudio.co.uk/Pages... • Depth of Field iPhone tutorial: https://www.mobiography.net/tutorials... • https://iphonephotographyschool.com/d... • Bokeh/depth of field apps for iPhone: Type in: Bokeh Lens at the App Store, $.99 US. • Bokeh effect for non-Apple phones: Microsoft store, Bokeh Photo Effect , free. • Camera+ (2.99 US at App Store) and Camera+ Lite (free) manual controls for shooting, plus dozens of filters, frames, and tweaks... There are tons of apps available to jazz up your phone's camera. • I might do a video on using some of these apps and editing... • Visit my website for more information on jewelry making/metalsmithing: NancyLTHamilton.com. • See my webpages for information on a few photo editing programs: http://www.nancylthamilton.com/photog... • Amazon links are through my affiliate account at Amazon.
