http://www.WhichBike.com staff member, Ade, now fancies a tourer so decides he needs to take out the 2015 Honda Crosstourer DCT. What will he make of this powerful, adventure tourer with an Automatic gearbox!? • Long detailed review of the Honda Crosstourer DCT including a full walkaround and test ride. • Details from Honda: • Ready for the long haul, two-up and loaded or the cut and thrust of the city, the Crosstourer is built to soak up whatever it rolls over. Durable bodywork cuts aggressive angles with a small frontal area and yet it offers plenty of weather protection. The seat profile is carefully shaped to deliver comfort and easy ground reach, computerised self-cancelling indicators mean you’ll never spare them a second thought, while the compact ‘wave’ design ignition key improves security. • For wherever the road leads the Crosstourer’s chassis deals out surefooted ability with nimble handling. The lightweight and massively strong aluminium twin-spar frame features an optimised rigidity balance and supple suspension – 43mm inverted forks and Pro-Link rear monoshock – that irons out surface imperfections. Combined ABS (C-ABS) links front and rear brakes serving up balanced stopping power for more stable deceleration, with the added safety of an Anti-lock Braking System. While a relaxed and upright riding position brings all-day comfort. • Dynamically suited for sports touring duty, the 1,237cc V4 engine drives out large amounts of usable power, with linear torque from low rpm and a soulful feel thanks to the uneven firing order, due to offset crankpins. Response is razor-sharp thanks to PGM-FI fuel injection and acceleration is instant in any of the six gears. A sophisticated Torque Control System (TCS) constantly monitors and maintains rear wheel traction and offers 3 stages of control, covering all riding conditions. Final drive is via maintenance-free shaft. • We are looking for forum helpers, contributors and Vloggers! • Take care out there. • WEBSITE: • http://www.WhichBike.com • FORUM: • http://whichbike.com/motorcycle-forum • FACEBOOK: • / which-. . • TWITTER: • / whichbike_com • GOOGLE + • https://plus.google.com/1162958612425...
