Scafell Pike from National Trust Car Park Wasdale, we followed the trail from the Car Park along Lingmell Gill. After about 45 minutes we reached and crossed the stream continuing our climb along Brown Tongue. Choosing the track to the right we climbed the loose ground up to Mickledore. After a short rest we pressed on up to the summit of Scafell Pike England’s Highest Mountain. • Had the pleasure of chatting to Lindsay Buck #wasdalewomble on the way up. • The legs were aching for a few days after, but it was well worth it.
