Vox AC30 Reverb Tank Upgrade

In this video I demo the stock reverb in a 2012 Vox AC30C2, then show how to remove the tank and replace it with an Accutronics 9EB2C1B Reverb Tank, purchased for about $25 on Amazon. Let me know if you think it sounds better / the same / worse than the stock one. • Jump to stock reverb tone @1:32 • Jump to upgraded reverb tone @7:00 • UPDATE: after practicing with the amp a couple of times, I think the reverb tank / springs must have loosened up, because now it sounds MUCH richer and fuller than in this video, in the video I was not that impressed, but now after using it I hear a clear and marked improvement. Verdict: this upgrade is definitely worth it.
