This is a relatively simple process to do is follow the instructions included with your new map CD. I have included a link in the description for the CD I purchase which was for a 2011 Toyota Highlander. Make sure when you purchase your CD that you check that it is compatible with your vehicle before you make your purchase. Instructions that came with the CD were very helpful and straightforward and this is a quick and easy process to update your navigation system. The one thing it did not include was how to eject your old CD and this can be a bit tricky depending on your system. There's no real button that says eject if you push the regular eject it only pertains to music CDs which is a different slot in your system. In my case for the 2011 Toyota Highlander I had to push the info/phone button from the home screen then I had three choices one of which was navigation system once I selected that option I was then given another option to eject CD. Once that process was complete I inserted the new CD closed the interface panel and let the system update on its own. As you can see this is pretty simple and straightforward and once done you will have an updated map system on your car's navigation system. • On this YouTube channel and description I do use some affiliate links.
