Today we are going to look at fixing scan issues with iPrint Scan • This video may cover multiple models. Even though your machine may not match the model referred to on the screen the overall process will still be the same. • Windows scan problems may occur for various reasons when using Brother iPrint Scan. Some of the more common reasons are replacing your router or network equipment, scanner network problem, application issues and driver issues. • If you have recently replaced your wireless router and have not reconnected your machine wirelessly, you will need to reconnect it to the new router. Click the link (on the screen or in the description) to search our database for model-specific instructions on how to connect your machine to a wireless network. • Not all Brother devices are compatible with Brother iPrint Scan Desktop. Follow the link on the screen to find compatibility information for you model • Before beginning, ensure Brother iPrint Scan has been properly setup on your computer. Click Start, then choose Brother, and click Brother iPrint Scan. • Even though your Brother device may already be selected, click Select your machine. iPrint Scan will now search for your device. Select your device and click OK. If your device is not found, you will need to reboot the power to your router, Brother device and computer. Once completed, try the search again. • If your device is still not found, check for firewalls or other security software which may be blocking the connection. If the problem continues you may need reinstall your device on the wireless network. • Once your device is selected, iPrint Scan will display all the functions that your machine supports. Click OK • Load a document to scan. Confirm the desired scanning settings, then click Scan.
