UPDATE Joker: Folie A Deux - Phoenix Gaga Get The Hard R rating. • The MPAA has given its official R rating to the upcoming Joker sequel, Joker: Folie A Deux. Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix will star as Harley Quinn and Arthur Fleck in this love story, crime story, psychological study, and, oh yeah- musical. That's right- 15 existing songs will pepper this film as a Jukebox musical, with maybe a couple of original offerings from Gaga herself. A couple of days ago the official poster dropped and the trailer was announced to hit the public domain on April 9th for a film that releases October 4, 2024. This is a highly anticipated sequel that has a ton of questions surrounding it. But, let me know what you think about these updates and about the prospect of a musical Joker film in general.
