Canopic Jars of Egypt

During my expedition to Egypt, I collected a LOT of really cool items from the souvenir shops, but the most awesome pieces were those crafted by local artisans. • This set of Canopic jars is over 100 years old and comes from an alabaster factory in Luxor. They also have an alabaster box, which is extremely rare, but still authentic to the period. • Canopic jars were part of the mummification and burial process of mummies in ancient Egypt.
