INSANE FOOTAGE: In a wildly successful mission, Starship did a splashdown in Indian Ocean, mostly intact, with landing burn just before splashdown. Reentry heat is wicked - I've survived it 3 times. Learning a lot about the difference between simulation and reality today SpaceX. Congratulations on both soft splashdowns - pushing the envelope right to the edge. Excellent! • Starship did a fucking flip maneuver and landing burn and successfully landed in the Indian ocean with three and a half flaps!!!!!! I have never seen anything like this!!! SpaceX take a bow! • Most likely outcome of today's test is a clearer regulatory path to flight 5.
