We can write a 3-digit number that is shown by a set of blocks. We can draw a quick picture of the number. Each column in the place value chart shows how many blocks to draw. We can write how many hundreds, tens, and ones blocks there are in a model. If there are no tens blocks, or no ones blocks, we write 0 for the number of blocks. If a number has a hundreds digit, it must also have a tens digit and a ones digit. We use zeros to keep digits in their correct place value. We solve two riddles involving hundreds, tens, and ones. • 2nd Grade Math 2.1, Group Tens as Hundreds •    • 2nd Grade Math 2.1, Group Tens as Hun...   • 2nd Grade Math 2.2, Explore 3-Digit Numbers •    • 2nd Grade Math 2.2, Explore 3-Digit N...   • 2nd Grade Math 2.3, Model 3-Digit Numbers with blocks •    • 2nd Grade Math 2.3, Model 3-Digit Num...   • 2nd Grade Math playlist: •    • 2nd Grade Math Course   • I'm using the Houghton Mifflin Go Math! • 2015 copyright textbook for this playlist. • You can practice online using the textbook's website • https://www.gomathacademy.com/ • This video and its contents are the property of JoAnn's School and • is protected under U.S. copyright law. • FOLLOW ME: • TWITTER   / joannsschool   • FACEBOOK   / joannsschool   • MINDS https://www.Minds.com/joannsschool • SUPPORT MY WORK: • PATREON (monthly)   / joannsschool   • PAYPAL (one time) https://www.paypal.me/JoAnnsSchool
