Surprisingly awesome bass fishing at Middelburg Dam

On a whim, we recently visited Middelburg Dam for a day to go and see if the bass fishing is as good as everyone says. We were surprised by the cleanliness of the place and also how clear the water was. • The fishing was also pretty good, we caught dozens of small bass near the river inlet to the south, and even further up nearer to the dam wall.
