Orion Tait, CD at Buck in NY: It was great to be there and witness the audience's reaction, an experience we don't usually have. • There was no budget, so we needed to control costs, and of course wanted to produce something great. We also wanted to involve the whole studio and make it as collaborative as possible, a piece that reflects who we are and how we work. This proved challenging and required a lot of planning and ideation. • Once we settled on a variety show format and broke off into teams, it was a challenge to make sure we were respecting everyone's intentions and individual creative visions, but also considering art direction for the piece as a whole. But we've all worked together in this way for so long it was actually pretty seamless once we got the ball rolling. • The main technical challenge was, believe it or not, popping the balloons.
