Ankle CT Talus Neck Fracture

This is a 20-something male with ankle pain following a motor vehicle crash. XR showed possible non displaced talus fracture. CT showed mildly displaced comminuted talus neck fracture extending into the subtalar joint and anterior aspect of the tibiotalar joint with surrounding soft tissue hematoma, and possible anterior tibiotalar ligament avulsion injury.
