Longplay and review for KARNOV on the AMSTRAD CPC. • This a little known of conversion of the Data East coin-op arcade machine, and a pretty decent effort. I'm not sure how popular the coin-op was initially (it was off my radar at least) but the character of Karnov (Russian ex-circus strongman and fire breather!) went on to become Data East's unofficial mascot, you can even see him pop up as the boss of the 1st level of Bad Dudes vs Dragon Ninja! • Lots of items, powerups, secrets and decent boss battles elevates this above most simple horizontally scrolling platformers of the 80's. • A conversion • (c) 1987 Data East / 1988 Activision • http://cpc-power.com/index.php?page=d... • http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karnov
