14th Street-Union Square Station to Hoyt–Schermerhorn Station via Metropolitan Avenue/Lorimer Street station. The end of the video shows a tour of the New York Transit Museum. The museum used to be Court street station that opened on April 9, 1936 but was closed on June 1, 1946 due to low ridership and close proximity to other Downtown Brooklyn subway station. On July 4, 1976, as part of the United States Bicentennial celebration, this once abandoned station was converted into a transit museum with exhibits of New York's transit history and old subway trains. It was proven so popular that this exhibit which was meant to be temporary was made permanent. Video filmed on November 4, 2023. • Click here to see all of my photos on my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?... • Follow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/mctransitfa... • Follow me on X:   / ussrunknown
