It provides 4kW of power and 4.1Nm of torque compared to the 3.5kW and 3.5Nm the MS 362 C-M provides. These increases come from larger displacement of 66.8cc, a 14% increase compared to the MS 362 C-M. When compared to the engine used in the MS 362 C-M model, the magnesium piston is 14% lighter which helps deliver rapid acceleration whilst also being very durable. These new intelligent design features, provide the MS 400 with an impressive power-to-weight ratio, making it perfect for arborist and forestry work, especially for long periods. It features a decompression valve and ElastoStart technology, which means starting this power tool is effortless. It also comes with tool-free fuel caps for easy and reliable refuelling. • In addition, the MS 400 C-M boasts STIHL’s latest M-Tronic 3.0 technology. This provides all users with STIHL’s simple re-calibration feature and an improved HD2 air filter. The HD2 filter is built with fine-pored filter materials, keeping very fine dust and dirt away from the engine, which guarantees consistent performance in our chainsaw at all times, even in extreme conditions.
