Extras was just not a book that kept my interest and it was like a chore to read. • I do want to thank Scott Westerfeld for the beautiful adventure I found in the other three! • Was this really from the same author??? • I really enjoyed the first 3 books this sounded like it was written by a tween. It kept repeating the same tired slang. It was boredom -making!!!! • The actress had 2 voices, female and lower. • It took will power to make it to the end. Really, you should have stopped at the 3rd book. • loved the overall story Uglies to Extras • loved the story as a whole, all four together. I didn't like the performance as much in this one as in the other three, but still pretty good. I liked the first three the most, but this was still good and gave a little more closure. • Narrator needs work, but story got better and better • The story was set 3 years ahead of Specials and a different characters perspective. Great story development. A little slow at times. Narrator didnt emphasize scenes correctly. Hard to picture a tense, energetic moment in the story when the narrator is talking in a monotone voice. I also think this story was supposed to be in a Japanese accent which was totally missing.
