That means one young person leaves the church every 26 seconds. • So we asked youth from across the country, “why are you leaving the church?” • If you're a youth leader, this is a pivotal conversation you have to watch! We were blown away by some of their answers, and we need to listen. This next generation wants answers to the complex issues in our world. The pandemic has not only highlighted many of the issues our young people face on a daily basis, but it has also increased the rate at which they experience them. • As youth workers, you are uniquely positioned to meet the needs of young people in your ministry, which is why this conversation, more than any we’ve had here at UYWI, is pivotal.
