Norris Geyser Basin in Yellowstone National Park is the parks hottest and most dynamic geyser basin. It includes Steamboat, the worlds tallest geyser, but we did not see a full eruption. The last one was on July 15th, 2024 – of course we ere exactly a month late. When she erupts, she can exceed 300 feet or 91 meters for our Canadian friends. • The springs were diverse in shape, color and size as you stroll along the boardwalks. Every turn is another geological marvel. The walk-through Porcelain Basin is breathtaking and well worth the elevation changes in the trail.
