Floating Through Burgundy

A week cruising south on the Canal du Nivernais in Burgundy France. I was onboard a canal boat called Beauregard owned by Australian friends. • Beautiful countryside drifting by at a slow pace, lots of interesting villages, the medieval town of Clamecy, and other folks on the canal and running the many locks made for an enjoyable time. • An accompanying coffee table book filled with beautiful photographs of this region is available on Amazon: https://www.blurb.com/b/9759078-float... • The trip departed from Auxerre and travelled south to Châtillon-en-Bazois in Burgundy, France. • From the owner, Gary: • BEAUREGARD was built by Locaboat Industries in France. The Company still exists (HQ in Joigny) and operates now purely as a charter company. My boat type, the “classic 1107” is not built anymore, but the company does sell off their older “classics when they reach a certain point. • Filmed in 1080p 50fps using internal mike, hand held with a Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 camera.
