I'm passionate about good food and lots of it. • Today, I'm making Pappardelle alla Bolognese using leftovers from my last video, where I make lasagne! • WATCH MY LASAGNE COOKING VIDEO HERE: • The secret to the BEST Italian Lasagn... • So many people have asked for this classic, • Try this at home, let me know how you go and how you made it your own. • Ingredients for Bolognese: • Pork Mince • Beef Mince • Veal Mince • Olive Oil • Red Wine • Cloves • Star Anise • Pasta Sheets • Onion (1-2) • Carrot (3-4) • Celery (3-4 Stalks) • Garlic • San Marzano Peeled Tomatoes (2.5kg) • Fresh egg pasta or pasta of choice • Ingredients for pasta: • Bolognese • Fresh egg pasta or pasta of choice • Cold water (to boil) • Salt • Olive Oil • Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese • Butter • Method for pasta: • Start with cold water and bring to a boil • In a separate pan, add olive oil and bring to heat • Drop temperature of pan to medium • Add bolognese to pan • Cover with lid and cook gently • Grate Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese • Once water is boiling, add a punch of salt • Add pasta to water and cook for 8 minutes or until ready • Stir and taste pasta before removing • Take bolognese off the heat once bubbling • Fold pasta through bolognese pan directly from water pot • Finish with a touch of butter and cheese • ENJOY! • #bolognese #pappardelle #spaghettibolognese #food #cooking #italian #italiancooking #howtocook #howto
