Delonghi Dolce Gusto Piccolo Pod Machine • Coffee machine broke, bad start to the day. Let’s fix it! • I don’t recommend inexperienced people try fixing their own coffee machine, but if you do, make sure you: UNPLUG, UNPLUG, UNPLUG, DO NOT ELECTROCUTE YOURSELF. It is easy to forget, I have been doing this for years, it does happen. Replace the thermal fuses (if they have failed), the bypass I do is only temporary. Thermal fuses prevent a boiler meltdown in case of malfunction. The ones in my pod machine have failed due to water leakage going somewhere it shouldn’t, rather than a mainboard fault. I didn’t put enough silicon on the diffuser plate at first, it blew out under pressure after a few shots. What you are seeing is my second attempt.
