I saved about a half cup of acorn meal to add to my pancakes. Where it calls for a 1 cup of pancake flour I used only half cup of pancake flour and half cup of my acorn meal to 3/4 cup water. I cook outside on an open fire with the cast iron pan, they turned out yummy! Acorns are packed with protein! so if your ever in a survival mode.....process some acorns! • I also made some bread with my acorn meal last week, I used Robert McCallum1 bread recipe, where it calls for 5 cups of flour I used 3 cups of flour and 2 cups of acorn meal, turned out great, tasted like wheat bread to me.
