I’d like to share with you some very easy recipes. • Facebook:   / guillaumescuisine   • Twitter:   / guillcuisine   • Instagram:   / guillaumescuisine   • Ingredients for 4/6 people (for a 20cm [8in] round pie dish): • Almond filling (also called frangipane): • 125g [1 + 1/3 cups] ground almonds (‘almond flour’ in the US) • 85g [6 tablespoons] soft unsalted butter • 88g [7 tablespoons] sugar • 1 large egg • 60g [5 tablespoons] extra thick cream (‘heavy cream’ in the US) or crème fraiche or mascarpone cheese • 2 teaspoons rum, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, a few drops of almonds extract • • Puff pastry: for base and top of tart • 1 egg and 1 tablespoon water (for the glaze) • 40g sugar [4 tablespoons] sugar and same volume of water (for the sugar syrup)
