Meet Doug :) • So yuh I finally adopted my first Syrian hamster! I've wanted to get a pet hamster for well over a year now and have been on the waitlist since October with Nantucket Hamstery, an ethical breeder. I had a few dwarf Chinese hamsters when I was really young but obviously didn't know anything about proper hamster care. This time around I wanted to do things right. I got most of my pet supplies from Petsmart and adopted through an ethical breeder. I got a 40 gallon tank, a 12' wheel, and more.
