Vanilla Crème Patissiere (Vanilla Pastry Cream) • Crème Patissiere (crème pâtissière) or pastry cream, is a creamy vanilla custard that you can use in many desserts or pastries. It is commonly used for filling danish pastries, cream puffs or eclairs, donuts and lagkage (danish layer cake). Or you can use it for a simple dessert.
