China's Ministry of Commerce has decided to extend the anti-dumping investigation into European Union (EU) brandy imports, delaying the final decision until April 2025. The investigation, launched in January 2024, was initiated at the request of China's domestic brandy industry, suspecting unfair pricing by EU exporters. In October, China imposed temporary measures, demanding EU importers pay deposits on brandy shipments based on anti-dumping margins ranging from 30.6% to 39%.
