Hello friends and thanks for listening! • As much as 1,800 years ago the area where I live high in the Zuni Mountains of northwest New Mexico was populated by an ancient people we call the Anasazi. The Anasazi inhabited much of New Mexico and just south of us the Mogollon people inhabited southern New Mexico and were also cave dwellers with a remarkably similar culture. In the southern cliffs that are only a mile from my cabin you can see the caves the Anasazi lived in and remains of mud brick walls they built to enclose those caves for protection from predators and the elements of wind, rain, and snow. The energy of the Anasazi can still be felt like a magnetic imprint of their spirits, some people here say they feel the Anasazi are still dancing here. The descendants of Anasazi people still thrive here on reservation lands.
