The case for a utility meal is clear ⬇️ • We are all busy people with busy lives. • Unless you have a personal chef, you are doing all your own meals… and between work and working out… it’s hard to find the time… but if you DO work and workout a lot… YOU NEED TO. So it’s sort of a paradox. • The paradox is solved by eliminating the time spent thinking about and preparing lunches every week. • People think they can bear to eat the same thing for lunch every day but I’m telling you, a good dish based on whole foods that provides you with good energy is satiating. In fact you will start to look forward to the feeling of being full without the fog. • What you need is a dish that solves a difficult problem: it must be neither too boring you will get tired of it nor too exotic you can’t eat it every day. It must also save you time and money while providing you with good nutrition. • For me, I came up with a dish I call The Big Bean. It’s basically lentils, chickpeas, a few different types of dal and veg served over quinoa. The base is green tea if you want to get lean or coconut cream if you want to bulk up.
