This review of the NordicTrack E8.7 Elliptical will help you know if this machine is right for you. • First thing you should know: This is a front flywheel machine. What does that mean to you? The placement of the flywheel—the device that spurs a smooth turning motion—can impact the feel and stability of your ride, as well as the square footage it occupies. Compared to its rear drive counterparts, the E 8.7 bares a more compact footprint. And it stayed comfortably grounded through my beat-down, even though the flywheel isn’t a heavyweight. While a twenty-pound flywheel is respectable, and this one holds up to 325 pounds, it’s far from the largest available. Bigger flywheels often stand up to heavier people and rigorous use. In the end, it all comes down to feel, and that’s where the inertia-enhanced technology shines. There’s an easy-breezy motion that nearly lulled me to sleep. Maybe I’ll wake up slimmer. • Shop Ellipticals @ Sears: http://www.sears.com/fitness-sports-f... • Shop the NordicTrack E8.7 @ Sears: http://bit.ly/1FsfnDe
