For data recovery professionals using PC3000 as their main system for cloning failing hard drives, it can sometimes get a little frustrating not being able to move the process of saving files out to the destination drive to another system without losing the ability to split files that have bad sectors into a separate damaged folder. Recently, the UFS team added the ability to import the map from the PC3000 Data Extractor task. Now, when enabled, the any files that have damaged or unread sectors according the the PC3000 DE map file, they will be saved into a separate folder while maintaining their full file path. • Edit: People have been asking if this process works only for the split image files or if it will also work with a single image and drive-to-drive clone. The answer to that is yes. After opening the image file or detecting the clone drive within UFS, the same steps are to be used for loading the PC3000 sector map and saving the files. • Recovery Force - https://www.recoveryforce.com • UFS Explorer - https://www.ufsexplorer.com • PC3000 - https://www.acelab.eu.com/
