In this video, I go through the steps to making some delicious slow cooker curried sausages. These are perfect if you have a ton of leftover sausages or/and need to feed a crowd. • Recipe: https://slowcookingperfected.com/slow... • More recipes: https://slowcookingperfected.com/reci... • Support us: https://go.slowcookingperfected.com/M... • You can use any type of sausage in this recipe but I recommend sticking to something like pork or beef for the best flavour. • Rice goes perfectly well with this dish and can be easily cooked up in a rice cooker. This is perfect if you're running low on time and don't have the time to make a complicated side dish. • If you’re having a potato side dish then you might want to skip on the potatoes in this recipe otherwise you might find there is too much potato in this dish • • 500g beer or pork sausages • • 1 onion, sliced • • 2 tsp. garlic, crushed • • 3 potatoes, cubed • • 2 carrots, cubed • • 1 cup frozen peas • • 1 Tbsp. curry powder • • 2 Tbsp. fruit chutney • • 2 cups beef stock • • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch • • 1 Tbsp. water • If you’re finding 1 Tbsp. is not enough cornstarch to thicken the liquid then be sure to simply add more. However, you should find one is more than enough. • It’s important to slightly brown the sausages otherwise you might find it hard to cut them into chunks. Alternatively, you can just leave them whole. • Most green vegetables do not cook well for long periods of time. You will find that they will go a grey ugly colour so it’s best to add these at the end. • You’re able to use red or yellow curry powder, it just comes down to what you prefer. Personally, I used a yellow keen's mustard powder for this particular recipe. • The fruit chutney adds a bit of sweetness and flavour to the dish, if you don’t like the sound of it being slightly sweet then simply leave this ingredient out. • I really hope that you enjoy these slow cooker curried sausages and that you come back to this recipe in the future.
