The squeegee technique is a painting technique in abstract acrylic painting and is one of my favourite painting techniques. This video, as the third in a small series, shows that rust and patina effects are also possible in the abstract squeegee technique.n my squeegee painting I also use the metallic colour copper, which, in contrast to bronze, has a slightly reddish shimmer. But I also apply bronze in this painting because it uses much cooler tones than my recent videos. I paint in my own style the squeegee technique made popular by Gerhard Richter. He is one of the greatest German artists for me. In contrast to his large paintings and large squeegee tools, my canvas is naturally small. I hope you enjoy discovering the squeegee technique!
