These fittings are specially designed to work without brazing, which automatically makes your job simpler and faster when joining copper tubes. The joints made with ZoomLock tools and jaws are reliably secure, leak-proof, and reportedly save time and labor of up to 40%-60% compared to brazing. • ACR, Type M and Type L copper tubing are all approved for ZoomLock fittings. Type K copper can also be used on sizes up to 7/8ths. • Use the approved copper tubing cutter provided in the kit. Do not use saws as they may create a rough surface that can damage the O-ring. • Use the supplied deburring tool to remove residual burrs from the inside and outside of the tubing. Clean off the ends of the copper tubing with a heavy-duty scouring pad. • If scratches are present at the end of the tubing, either sand thoroughly or cut off the effected end to avoid risking damage to the O-Ring. • Before inserting the tubing into the fitting, line the tubing up with the dimple located in the middle of the fitting and mark a line. This will ensure proper tube insertion depth. • Be sure to properly place the crimping jaws on the fitting using the grooves for alignment. Trigger the device to crimp the fitting in place. An RLS stamp will be visible on the fitting to ensure a complete fitting connection. Inspect the crimp using the supplied gauge to confirm a proper connection has been made. • ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- • Purchase 5 Jaw Tool Kit here: https://bit.ly/2m3g2hp • Shop at Supplyhouse.com: https://www.supplyhouse.com/ • Email us: • [email protected] • Follow Supplyhouse.com! • Facebook:   / supplyhouse   • Instagram:   / supplyhouse   • Twitter:   / supplyhouse_com
