Okay y'all, • I'm trying my hand at this fried rice thing. • I'm making my version of Pork Fried Rice with Yum Yum Sauce. • Very easy to make. • One thing I feel worth repeating is that I precooked the Jasmine rice then spread it out on a cookie sheet and let sit in fridge for about an hour and 30 minutes before adding to to the mix. • Secondly, I used the frozen microwaveable green peas and precooked those also. • Thanks for watching! • Recipe below. • Pork Fried Rice • INGREDIENTS: • • 13 oz pork fillets • • 1/3 cup vegetable oil • • 4 eggs, lightly beaten • • 1/2 red onion, finely diced • • 1 tablespoon ground ginger • • 2 teaspoons white sugar • • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce • • 2 tablespoons light soy sauce • • 1 tablespoon malt vinegar • • 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil • • 4 cups steamed rice • • 3 finely sliced spring onions • PREPARATION • STEP 1 • Cut pork fillets into 1/4 inch slices, then cut into 1/4 inch strips and set aside. • STEP 2 • Heat half the oil in a hot wok and cook eggs. Set aside. • STEP 3 • Heat remaining oil and stir-fry : • onion • ginger • Carrots • STEP 4 • Add : • Sugar • stir-fry for 30 seconds. • Add: • Pork • Stir in: • 2 Tbsp hoisin sauce • 2 Tbsp soy sauce • 1 Tbsp malt vinegar • 1/4 tsp sesame oil • Cook until pork is no longer pink • STEP 5 • Toss in: • Rice • Egg • Peas • stir-fry for about 6-8 minutes using a spatula to break up the egg into smaller pieces STEP 6 • Add: • spring onions • stir-fry for a further 30 seconds or until well combined and rice is heated through. • Enjoy! • • For more Fried Rice recipes please check these guys out: • Cookin' With James:    / @cookinwithjames   • THEREALSHOWBBQ:    / @therealshowbbq   • Background music courtesy of: https://www.zapsplat.com/
