We have some tiktok tea for you today thats frankly, pretty petty and has exploded to the point that we couldn’t NOT talk about this. • The drama in question includes 2 tiktokers by the names of Rhegan777 and Marina Saavedra. • While this beef, as I said, is rather petty, it also brings into the forefront that topic of how much people in the influencer sphere seem to feel the undeniable NEED to post about…every…single…thing. Even thoughts and feelings that could, quite frankly, stay just thoughts and feelings. • Lets about the birthday party drama. • Rhegan777 is a tiktoker and youtuber with over 4 million followers on tiktok and about 240k subscribers on YouTube. She’s best known for her transition videos on tiktok, but it’s clear she is making a strong effort in the world of YouTube with vlogs, get ready with mes as well as “smoke” with mes. If you guys want a deeper dive into Rhegan as a separate video, let us know in the comments because there were some INTERESTING stories that came out recently, with the main one being speculation around her killing her cat. For the record, this is alleged, possibly not true, BUT, we can do a entire hot tea history on her if you guys are interested! • Anyways! Rhegan777 has been up and coming in the world of tiktok influencers for a while, and come July of this year, she decided to throw a big birthday party and invite other influencers. This is where Marina comes into the story. • Marina is set to attend Rhegan’s birthday party, as a plus one. The plus one part of this story is pretty important. Essentially, Marina is not invited HERSELF, but rather is going along with a friend. • Seems pretty normal and straight forward and the usual stuff we see some influencers right?? WRONG. Marina decided to share that she in fact did NOT have fun at this party. • On her OOTD post PRE party, someone commented asking her how the party went. Marina replied went and wasnt my vibe . • That’s fair enough I mean, I could NEVER say something like this knowing that i had a following and people would obviouslyyyy want more information. But ok..this is not that bad. • But people being people OF COURSE pressed the situation and wanted answers. They wanted the tea hello? Obviously. So marina responds and GIRL…whyyyy • Bare in mind, again, Marina is a plus one to this party…taking this video, doing this edit and THEN POSTING IT is crazy • If we were talking about an event that Marina got invited to for work purposes, like a meet and greet or something along those lines where she was a feature influencer at the event or maybe she was a spokesperson or possibly working with a brand, I COULD understand these expectations, and would even MAYBE agree with her…maybe. What that was not this. This was a birthday party that her FRIEND was invited to and she was then taken as a plus one. Any expectation at all is simply entitled behaviour. Sorry. • She’s not wrong at all. If you are not having a good time somewhere, unless you are contractually obligated or if it was YOUR best friend’s party, you really don’t have to stay. But there is a CLASSY way to leave the function and move on. Posting about it this way actually was the flop afterall, not the party. • THIS is such a FAKE ASS thing to say. Sorry but if you cared at ALL about the birthday girl having fun and that being important, you wouldn’t have done this. This, to me, in my professional tea and drama opinion is an example of straight up, black and white, clout chasing. Yes, as an influencer you can turn everything into content, but this is simply mean girl behaviour. • To be clear, as well, anyone coming for Marina for leaving the party because she wasn’t having a good time, that’s a bit unfair. Like I say, do whatever, make your excuses, but be polite. Who cares if she didn’t have fun, who cares if frankly she is entitled and spoiled and maybe even too big for boots, but the problem is how she posted about it. This has now gone from something that COULD have been a private conversation between marina and her friends to a public discussion and honestly, she’s opened herself up for scrutiny.
