In this video, you will learn all about Measurement of Length. • In early times, people used to measure length using their hands and feet. This method of measurement does not give accurate results. The handspan, cubit and footspan are some non-standard units for estimating length. They differ from person to person. • Standard units are required to measure qualities accurately. Metre (m) is the standard unit used to measure length. For a smaller length, we use centimetre (cm) and for even smaller lengths, we use millimetre (mm). One metre consists of 100 centimetres. • Larger distances or lengths are measured in kilometre (km). We use scales and inch tapes to measure lengths. • The units are related to one another as follows: • 1 centimetre (cm) = 10 millimetres (mm) • 1 metre (m) = 100 centimetres (cm) • 1 kilometre (km) = 1000 metres (m) • Follow us on Instagram: / login • Follow us on YouTube: / @blueprintdigitalnr • Follow us on Facebook: / blueprintedu • Buy Here – My Science Zone (Latest Version): https://blueprinteducation.co.in/pro/... • My Science Zone Class 4 @Blueprint Digital
