UPDATE 02/01/2021: There are a lot of cool things you can do with war paints! Many of which I didn't know about at the time of making this video, so I've adjusted the title to reflect that this is purely for the basics. This is invaluable if you want your war paint to have a particular sheen or for the pattern to not be so randomised. When I first made this video, there weren't very many guides or resources out there, so it's great to see that war paint making is becoming more easily accessible. :D • I've also updated the download links for GCFScape and VTFEdit, since the original website is no longer around. • --- • I tried to explain everything as best I could in this video, but if I missed something out or made something too confusing, please let me know! I'll do my best to answer any questions you might have. • If you don't have an art program that lets you save as a tga, then GIMP is a free one you can download - afaik you have to choose the export option to save as a tga, but other than that I have no experience with this program, so unfortunately I can't answer any questions about it.
