An arcade driving sim where players take control of an ambulance tasked with delivering patients to hospitals. Emergency Call Ambulance was developed and published by Sega to arcades in 1999, and ran on Sega's Model 3 arcade hardware. • • Each stage of the game is essentially an obstacle course that players must pass thru to get their patients to their emergency room destinations. Collisions with objects, buildings, and other vehicles takes time away from the clock. • • The game features an on-screen HUD that shows each patient, along with their current heart rate, blood pressure, and other vital signs. Besides losing time with each collision, patients also lose health, and players lose points as well with each successive hit.
