We get a surprising number of people asking What's the speed limit in roundabouts In theory, it's the same speed limit as whatever the speed limit on the particular road is, but the thing is we have to adjust the speed according to the conditions. So we've got to drive to the conditions. Adjust your speed in order to turn safely and adequately. If it's a single-lane residential roundabout it's probably going to be about 20 kilometers an hour maybe even less if you're turning right or making a u-turn, but if it's a big double-lane roundabout that has got two wide lanes, you should be able to go through it even at about sort of 35 or 40 km per hour. It is a completely different layout but you've got to adhere to the conditions and adjust your speed accordingly.
