Updating NIC Drivers with VMware Update Manager

Got a large number of ESXi hosts? VMware Update Manager (VUM) can make quick work of the driver update process. By utilizing DRS, it can automate the host evacuation, driver installation and even host reboots. Here is a walk-through of how to upload a custom patch and create a VUM baseline for driver updates. • EDIT: At 12:28 I mention that Update Manager could do more than one host concurrently if resources are available. This is only true if you check off 'parallel remediation' in the remediation settings wizard.
