How to Replace the Carburetor on a Troy Bilt Push Mower. This video shows you how to replace the carburetor on a troy bilt push mower. Sometimes when cleaning doesn't work then you just need to change out the carburetor. The mower on this Troy Bilt Push Mower is a Briggs Stratton 650 series. In addition to changing the carburetor, it wouldn't hurt to change the air filter and spark plug as well. After I replaced the carburetor, the mower fired up and ran just as good as new.
