Restoring my 2003 Jaguar S-Type 4.2 V8 Sport. On day 2 of this rebuild (September 28, 2019), to prepare for disassembly, I disconnect/ remove the battery, put the car onto jack stands and take down its front wheels. • 🔔 Every day I´m working on this restoration is summarized in a separate video. I decided against investing money and instead went for another car, my 2007 Mercedes-Benz E500 4matic. • ⏯ The E-Class (W211) related playlist: • Mercedes-Benz E-Class (W211) Maintena... • Nevertheless I kept the Jaguar and promised myself that some day I would attempt a full rebuild. The time had come on August 31, 2019. After my S-Type had been abandoned for over 6 years, I rented a garage and ever since try to work at least once a week on this car restoration project. • The disassembly/ rebuild is done by myself without any professional support. To sort of proof that a paper pusher (as I am) can achieve this alone, I decided against just uploading a compilation of the most exciting moments or interim results, but instead try to get the whole process on camera, although using time lapse to keep it more or less endurable for you, my viewers. • Once the project is accomplished (I sincerely hope, it will be one day...), this video series may serve as a blueprint for restoring a Jaguar S-Type on your own. • ⚠ Disclaimer • -------------------------------------------------- • My content ist for entertainment only and doesn´t pursue educational purposes.
