They are often compared to Appends of other singing synthesis software, though Vocal Modes tend have a more subtle distinction from the default voice. As of writing this (12/02/2022), all Synthesizer V AI vocals are capable of using Vocal Modes, though some may need to be updated to newer versions in order to utilize them. Keep in mind that “Lite” AI Vocals or Standard vocals cannot make use of Vocal Modes. • Cross-Lingual Synthesis ( Often colloquially shortened to XLS ) is a feature of Synthesizer V Studio Pro, which allows Synthesizer V AI Singers to sing in languages aside from their default language with a decent degree of fluency. All Full commercial Synthesizer V AI vocals are capable of using this feature, though AI Lite and Standard vocals cannot. • My intention is to make more of these videos as I acquire more vocals, and as others I already own acquire additional Vocal Modes. • Tsuina-Chan(ついなちゃん) is a Japanese AI singer developed and managed by AH Software and Tsuina, the Ogre Hunter Project . She is voiced by Mai Kadowaki, and was released on November 26, 2021. Tsuina-Chan originated as a derivative character of Oniko Hinomoto(日本鬼子), a character created on the Vip@2ch forums in 2010 as a means to combat the growing anti-Japanese sentiments propogating in China. Using an offensive Chinese slur in which referred to Japanese people as demons as the basis for Oniko's name and character concept, she became a popular patriotic figure in Japan, later receiving several UTAU voicebanks, and becoming a VTuber. Eventually, a rival character for Oniko was conceived by Saki Oohenri, as Tsuina-Chan . With Oniko being an Oni or Ogre , Tsuina-Chan was conceptualized as an Ogre-Hunter . Tsuina-Chan herself was inspired by a popular Japanese ceremony done right before New Years known as Tsuina , where ogres and other evil spirits are exorcised. • Eventually, Tsuina-Chan separated from Oniko Hinomoto's canon, and in essence, became her own entity. Like her counterpart, she too would eventually join the vocal-synth scene. In February of 2019, a crowdfunding campaign was held to develop a database for Tsuina-Chan on VOICEROID. The crowdfund was successful, making more than twice the original goal, and on November 1, 2019, she released with two speech voicebanks on the VOICEROID2 software, one for Standard Tokyo Dialect, and the other for Kansai-Ben. • In December of 2020, a new Kickstarter campaign was started, this time to develop a singing database for Synthesizer V. It hit its goal within the first day of the crowdfund, and by the end it had raised more than $10,300USD, making over 3x the original goal. She released on Synthesizer V with a Standard database, and an AI database. • Tsuina-Chan did not immediately have Vocal Modes upon her initial release. They were added in her 1.06 update on 7/22/2022. Tsuina-Chan has 4 Vocal Modes, Attacky , Breathy , Crispy , and Soft . • ( Please note that for the purposes of this demonstration, we have elected to use her 1.04 version, as Tsuina-Chan's 1.06 update is noted by Tsuina-Chan's official Twitter to be low-quality. Her 1.04 version is a retroactive backward-compatible release, which was released after her 1.06. This version contains her Vocal Modes, but lacks HDVM-compatibility, that being the cause of her poor quality. • Addendum(12/03/2022), as of Synthesizer V AI’s 1.8.0 update, and Tsuina-Chan’s corresponding v1.08 update, users have noted that Tsuina-Chan’s voicebank quality has become much more stable, and much more closely matches the quality of her previous voicebank versions ) • Like all Synthesizer V AI vocals, Tsuina-Chan is capable of making use of the Cross-Lingual Synthesis feature, which enables her to sing in English and Mandarin Chinese with some fluency. • 00:00 Language: Japanese (Default) • 00:36 Language: English • 01:12 Language: Mandarin Chinese • Song: 赤とんぼ(Akatonbo) by 三木露風 • .svp: deadbyte • VB Used: Tsuina-Chan AI • Render: @LoverboySYNTH [ / loverboysynth ] • 「Voicebank is the full commercial version. No Lite Databases were used in the making of this video」 • #Tsuina-Chan #synthv #synthvai #synthv_tsuina #synthv_tsuina-chan #synthesizerv #synthesizervai #vocal_modes #ついなちゃん #夏色花梨
